And that brings us to our next thought –
With a new season in sight, spring cleaning is a popular topic that many people likely have on their mind. As we get ready to welcome in the warm weather and sunshine that we have anticipated for so long, we thought we would offer a few spring cleaning tips to help you in your classroom – spring cleaning doesn’t always just have to be about the home!
Eliminate Old Files: Between your filing cabinets and desk drawers alone, there is a good chance that you have an excessive amount of class related materials. However, if you have carried them with you from year to year or haven’t organized them since September, there is a good chance that much of what you have is outdated and no longer necessary. To make more space for yourself and de-clutter your classroom, now is the perfect time to sift through your files and eliminate what you don’t need. Finally, be sure to consider your classroom furniture and equipment during your spring cleaning routine; what better time than now to make some updates? Even the smallest change in your classroom’s furniture can make for a more comfortable, more productive second half of the year.
